From the moment I was referred to Andrew, the service I received was second to none. At initial appointment he ensured that I was given all detail re my diagnosis, gave full description of the proposed treatment regime and planned scans. Future appointments (monthly) were planned in advance and very timely scans etc were booked in giving me flexibility At all times in the consultation appointment I felt that I was totally given time to ask any questions, at no time did I ever feel rushed or that he was not listening to me Andrew always made sure both myself and my husband understood and he often went and found leaflets for us to take home I am very sad to have recently moved out of area as I received above the gold standard care

Andrew was always very professional, friendly and made me feel relaxed and confident that he was doing his very best. He explained everything very clearly and was happy to answer any of my questions. When examining me always made sure he got one of the lady nurses in the room so that I felt comfortable. Hopefully I won't need to see an Oncologist again but if I do I will request that I see him.

On first meeting him he put me at ease. I felt he was very knowledgeable about my condition and he went through all the choices I could have, touching on the benefits and the risks involved with them all. He was very happy to answer any questions I had and gave me information for me to follow up on support groups if I wanted to attend. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016.. and Dr Eichholz has been absolutely amazing, showed a lot of empathy. Very supportive and also very approachable. When I spoke with him yesterday and he said that I was being discharged - it felt quite scarey as I looked on Dr Eicholz as my comfort blanket.. could not of been in better hands.

From our first consultation Mr. Andrew Eichholtz inspired me with his competency and his caring. He was extremely thorough in his investigations and has always gone the extra mile to both ensure my treatment regime was being effective and to keep me fully informed on all aspects of my condition; my treatment options; and my long term prospects. He has never tried to hide possible unpleasant possibilities from me but has also always emphasized to me that while incurable there is every prospect for my cancer to be controlled and even possibly become a chronic rather than an imminently fatal situation. Prior to my seeing him I was advised that I possibly had only days to live but now, after a year under his care I am stronger, have much less pain, and my cancerous lesions are all either shrinking or at worst static and not spreading or expanding. In fact I am now living a largely normal life again and able to do most of the everyday chores and behaviours that I did in the past. In effect i am able to enjoy a largely normal life again. I have come to trust his capabilities and decisions completely and would recommend him to anyone without any reservations what-so-ever. My only regret is that Mr. Eichholtz was not my appointed oncologist several year ago when I first presented with a lump in my breast. I truly believe that had he so been then I would have been much better informed and advised from the start and I would have agreed to more ongoing appropriate treatment back then and that this would have avoided the recurrence and development of the metatastic situation with which I must now live.
